Sam Holter is a Phoenix-based Director of Photography whose work spans commercial campaigns, branded films, music videos, and narrative features across the United States. Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, Sam relocated to Arizona at 18 to pursue filmmaking with singular focus.

Drawn to moviemaking from an early age, he built his career from the ground up — developing a deep technical command of the camera department alongside a refined visual instinct for light, composition, and movement. With over a decade of professional experience, Sam is known for blending cinematic precision with production efficiency, leading camera and lighting teams on projects ranging from lean brand stories to full-scale narrative productions.

Today, he travels nationwide collaborating with brands, directors, and musicians to create visually grounded, emotionally resonant work.
